Your help is much appreciated!

Can you elaborate on the exact nature of your problem. Both Acrobat 8.1 and Acrobat 9 support Vista and .docx files.

Thank you for your reply. So I open Acrobat 9 and click at the top icon which says "create pdf using acrobat.com"
I have the monthly Acrobat subscription.

I don't believe Acrobat.com currently supports docx files.

You should be able to save the DOCX as a DOC file type and then convert to PDF.

Open your Word document, go to the Office button (upper left), go to "Save As" and click on "Word 97-2003 Document." It will be saved as a .doc version of your .docx document.

Then convert to a .pdf as you normally would.

Good luck!

Thanks for replying, I must be getting too old expecting someone to know how change formats by using the "Save as" option.
