Converting Word 2003 to Adobe 7.0 Professional

My word program always had the Adobe symbols on top, and I continuously converted Word files to pdf files. Now, suddenly, the Adobe symbols are missing on the tool bar. I have checed the "View Toolbars" and Adobe is no longer present as an option. I then removed Adobe 7.0 off the hard drive and reinstalled it, thinking there were missing links. Adobe appears on the Microsoft Office companion programs -- Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, but Adobe 7.0 no longer appears within Word. What happened? I see other posts to this problem!
