Converting Word hyperlinks to PDF

I have created a Word 2000 document containing hyperlinks, which i have now converted to PDF using Acrobat 8 professional. Whilst the hyperlinks have been preserved perfectly, the screentips I had set for the hyperlinks (please click here for more information etc.) have disappeared. Is there a way of ensuring Acrobat preserves the screentips?

Hi Steve --

No there isn't. The best you can do is double-click your links in the PDF file to open the Link Properties dialog box, and retype the content as a Screen Tip.
