Converting Word to PDF: Losing Pictures and Text Boxes

I am trying to convert a Word document to PDF. I have tried three ways with the same results - two images, three text boxes and one line are missing. I have used Print to PDF, the PDF convert botton provided in Word, and opening Acrobat and converting a document. In the first two cases I get a PDF with missing elements. In the third case, I get an error message - "An unexpected error occurred."

Any suggestions?

In the Adobe PDF menu in Word, under the Change Conversion Setting menu. Try turning off "Enable Accessibility and Reflow..." to see if it corrects the problem. Also, make sure the Adobe PDF printer is set as your default prior to creating the PDF.

If these suggestions don't help, please let us know what OS you're running Acrobat under.

Thanks for trying but neither of these suggestions helped. I am using Windows XP 5.1 Service Pack 2 and Word 2003 SP3.

Here are a few other suggestions:

The Adobe PDF printer uses the printing options you specify in the Word Options or Print dialog box. To specify printing options in Word:

1. Choose Tools > Options.2. Click the Print tab.

3. Deselect Reverse Print Order to make sure that pages in the PDF file appear in the correct sequence. If the document contains line graphics (for example, arrows or flow charts), select Drawing Objects.

If your Word document contains graphics that have a resolution lower than 200 dpi (for example, on-screen images), replace the graphics with higher resolution graphics, if possible. Graphics with a resolution lower than 200 dpi may not appear as smooth when converted to PDF. Acrobat products apply anti-aliasing, which smooths images, only to graphics that have a resolution of 200 dpi or greater, whereas Word applies anti-aliasing to all graphics.
