Create PDF by Scanning

I just installed Acrobat 8.0 Std. I had been using 7 to scan documents. I could preview scan them and drag the indices then scan in order to capture the portion of the document I was interested in. Now it seems like I can only scan them. Can't preview. Can't capture a portion. Is there any way I can get a replacement disk for 7.0 so that I can put the version that worked for me onto my new laptop? 8.0 is leaving me incapacitated.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 8, Windows

Hi DelaneyBC,

You may have been seeing your scanner's native interface to preview your scans previously. This is an option that can be turned on/off in Acrobat 8. When you scan a page, in the Acrobat Scan menu, select Scanner Options, under the User Interface make sure Show Scanner Native Interface is selected. See if this corrects the problem.

Hopefully this corrects the problem but if you need a replacement disk, you can contact Customer Service at 800-833-6687.

Hope this helps,
Lori
