creating PDF from Page maker

I use page maker to get .ps files.. and then use distiller to get pdf files..
I do this many many times a week.. 100's of pages..
however in 2% of the pages, some objects move after creating the pdf. I cannot figure out how or why this happens and how to fix it.

The objects are usually pictures.. jpg files that have been imported in the page maker file..

Can any give me a clue?

Hi --

Here's just a clue - I haven't used PageMaker in a few years, but you said the objects that move are images that you have imported. Are they enclosed in a bounding box? And can you lock that object's position? I think either of those two ideas are worth looking at, and might solve your issue.

hello
well firstly thanks for replying

the objects are not in a box.. they're simply jpg files.. images..
i copy it straight from internet explorer into pagemaker most of the time.

they are not bound by any borders or boxes..

ive also never seen an option that allows an object to be locked in a position but i guess i will look into that specifically to see if i can find such a feature.

but so far the only way i fix these flawed files is by creating a whole new page maker page... and redoing the page in a new page.. and usually it fixes it..
it's as if some pages just develop issues after being used or editted multiple times.
But its very time consuming thats all..
