I am using PPT 2007 and Acrobat 8.1.2. The PPT I want to print is in the Notes format. It is very slow no matter what way I do it -- using File > Print > Adobe PDF, using Create PDF from the Acrobat menu, or by opening Acrobta Pro and creating it that way.

A 28 page file can take up to 4 minutes for the PDF to be created.

I am running into that too! I am using Office 2007 and Acrobat Pro 7.0.9. I've only tried File > Print > Adobe PDF, but it also takes a long time to print the Notes pages. I had to print 134 slides in both Notes layout and as slides. To print the 134 slides to PDF took 2 minutes. To print the 134 Notes pages took 29 minutes...

Everyone having this problem should submit a bug report. Customer Service has responded to me and indicated that this is a bug and there is no work around at this time.
