Creating PDF using PDF Maker in AutoCAD

I am a longtime AutoCAD user, beginner Adobe 8.0 user. We recently upgraded from 7.0 Pro. When I use the "Convert to Adobe PDF" button in AutoCAD 2005, our company logo, which has a solid field hatch pattern, displays incorrectly in the PDF. I am also having problems when I use an image and text with a masked background. The text in the PDF shows up as red instead of black.
Can you suggest anything to address these two issues?

I am having the exact same problem, except when textmask in Autocad is used the PDF prints all black. Could you tell me the fix for this.
