Hello, I'm a newbee to Acrobat Professional 8 and trying to convert my website(www.id.rotterdam.nl) to PDF. Unfortunately Acrobat is messing up my pages ...
Can anyone explain me what goes wrong and tell me what I should do about it?

Thanks for the reaction. When making a PDF from the webpage, the images are wrongly placed or not placed at all (different results when created in explorer or in Acrobat 8). The header from the webpages is consequently placed at the bottom of the PDF, instead of at the top as you might expect.
I can't find out if maybe the settings in Acrobat are wrong...?

I am also having difficulty with capturing a website as a PDF. Often, but not always, the captured page(s) are cut off on the right hand side, so that all I get is about 75% of the width. I can view the entire page normally through my browser (Firefox), so I know the page is OK.
I am using Acrobat Standard version 8.10, Windows XP sp2.

All: If you are "printing" an html page to Adobe PDF how the page looks will be determined by the CSS coding for the printed page that is part of the Web site. If there's no CSS to control appearance, what you get will look like any printed page. That would account for missing the 25% of the width of the page.

Try using the settings under "Create PDF" and then "From Web page" and explore how you can change how your pdf will appear by changing those setting.

Hope this helps....

Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.
