Hi All,
Recently, I downloaded Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and used it successfully for several weeks. However, I soon afterward encountered problems with a non-functional PDF Maker, and was advised by AA Techs to re-download the AA9P program.
The 'new' download creates PDF text from Word documents, but photographic images in the original document do not appear in the PDF text. Photographs are/were inserted in original Word documents as jpeg or tiff images. Word files converted to PDF files successfully, images included, during previous months, by using Adobe Acrobat 8, now only convert to PDF text without images, when using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. In one case, a Word document can be converted containing photographs from two separate authors, but only photographs from the other author appear in the PDF document. All images I inserted in the Word document are not retained. on creating the PDF file. Documents with 1 or <30 images encounter the same problem. So, based on this one instance, the issue appears to reside with my images.
Different Adobe PDF preferences and settings have been checked, with changes being made within Word or within PDF, but without success.
Unfortunately, 95% of my Word documents contain high-resolution images (2 MB to 4.5 MB), and therefore without being able to create PDF files faithfully, I have a major problem.
Any suggestions please?
