Creating Reports for Active/Dead links

Hi I was wondering if anybody knows how I can use Acrobat to generate a report that checks links in the PDF file and generate a report which contains info about the links such as: total number of links, number of dead links (and location), location of each of the links.

Thanks!

Unfortunately this capability is not in Acrobat. The PDF Optimizer in Acrobat Pro. allows you to remove invalid links but it doesn't provide any reporting capability.

You might try some of the 3rd party tools available to do this. Here is a link to one of them:

I hope you can help me with a strange problem, as the Senior Apple Tech Support person could not, and he sent me to Adobe support. Re this website page link: http://hamptons.ny.lwvnet.org/files/rev_ad_2-15-10_xls.pdf my client is unable to, using either the latest version of Safari or Firefox, click on any of the email addresses, or website addresses, on the right side, Everyone else can though! She does not get the little hand icon ever, but instead alway gets the selection/copy icon; all these links malfunction for her. It is important that these work for her, too. Do you have any ideas about this weird issue? Thank you so much indeed!!

What version of Acrobat and/or Reader do they have installed? If they download the PDF and open it in Reader/Acrobat are they able to click the links?
