Cross document links not working

Hi,

We are running a Windows XP environment (SP2) with MS Office 2003 SP2. We have Adobe Professional 8.0.0 and Adobe Reader 8.0.0.

When we convert Word docs to PDf the cross document links do not work. The colour of the text still remains blue but when you click on the link nothing happens. You do not get the 'hand' icon either that shows when hovering on Hyperlinks.

I have gone through the Edit - Preferences - Convert to PDF menu (as mentioned in other forum posts) and all the tick boxes that should be ticked are.

Any ideas as this is driving me crazy.....

Thanks

Hi --

You have touched on one of the most annoying and prevalent Word -> Acrobat conversion issues. The text stays blue as it is colored within Word, but the translation of the field disappears. There isn't a single way to address the problem, unfortunately. There is a new post on my blog that lists some possible ways to correct the issue.
