Every time I select a custom stamp that I've created from a PDF file, it's initially rotated counterclockwise. I have to place the stamp and then rotate it by hand. Why doesn't the stamp stay in the same orientation as it's original PDF?

I have Acrobat 8.1.4 but it's not giving me that option in the "Product Version" drop down menu.

Recreate the stamp. But first, take the source pdf and apply OCR to it. (counter intuitive? yes, but just do it) Now, recreate the stamp from the OCR'd file. Let us know the outcome. If this doesn't resolve the rotation issue, we'll give you another solution.

It will not allow me to run OCR on the source PDF.
It says "Acrobat could not perform (OCR) on this page because: The resolution of this page is below the minimum of 72 dpi."

The source PDF is all vector and was created in Illustrator.
