Deleting the file location

I have only recently bought Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and I'm still learning to use it.

I saw that, when converting an HTML file ( both if directly from internet or if saved in my computer ), Acrobat reports the location of the file at the bottom of the page.

This can be sometimes useful ( ie : if we want to remember the URL for using it later ), but other times I would prefer that the location was not appearing ( especially about pages saved in my computer ).

In documents with few pages it is easy to delete it using the Advanced Editing.
But if the document is composed of several hundreds pages it is not so amusing deleting by clicking on the location information in every page.

Does anybody know if there is a way for avoiding that Acrobat reports the location in the document?

When you ask "Create PDF from web page", clic on the "Settings" button in the following window, then uncheck the "Place headers and footers on new page" box.

Thank you, Merlin.

And what if I have not only HTML files?
For example, let's suppose I have some HTML and some jpg files.
Before to open Acrobat, I select the files and I use the command "Combine Selected Files in PDF".
In this case, I have no "Setting" menu.
What should I do?
Can I change anything in the Acrobat main settings, so that it never adds the file location ( until I change the settings again ) ?

Freelnet, It can be quite complicated. I've found that if you go into Acrobat, ask it to create a file from a web page, uncheck the setting for headers and footers, then, this is important, you must type in a web page and create a file from a web page. After that, the settings will be saved throughout Acrobat and the Headers and Footers will not print.
