Hi gdhobgen,

Have you recently upgraded your operating system? If so, this could be the issue. When migrating an existing OS, Windows XP deletes the Distiller Printer. You can correct the issue by re-installing the Distiller printer using the Custom Install option for it. Here is the link to a technical note with more information:

Hope this helps,
Lori

I was afraid that would be the case. Our home was flooded out in July of 2006 and my backup CDs were under water for too long. I do not have my Adobe 5.0 disk, and tried to get another from Adobe but all they can offer is an upgrade to the current iteration for $99. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet. I do appreciate the help.

I lost my icon also. I loved having it my Word tool bar. Now I have to print to Adobe. An extra step, simple, but annoying. I tried looking at the link you noted Lori and didn't see any download. I have not updated my system for a few years, but do automatic updates regularly. Any help for me?

Distiller is a program within Acrobat that only converts PS files to PDF files. Are you looking for a generic virtual PS printer?
