Doc To PDF fails, even after the repair

I have the printing problem to with the PDFmaker from .doc to .pdf. I also tried to repair the installation, it works for one time only. After the first time, which succeeded, it's back the error I receive again. The only thing I can do than is start over again and repair the installation. Is there another way to fix this problem? Or do I have to fix it all the time, which isn't very efficient... Thank you in advance! (ps: I use acrobat 8 pro)
