.docx to .pdf equation font problem

Hi,

Recently Acrobat has started giving me an error when trying to convert .docx which contain equations (Cambria Math font).

%%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%
%%[Page: 1]%%
%%...page 2-13...
%%[Page: 14]%%
%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: show; ErrorInfo: CharOffsets 0R%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

I have recently done some cleaning into my fonts folder, but I have definitely not touched Cambria Regular and Cambria Math. They're still there. On the other hand it seems too big a coincidence conversion has stopped working after deleting some fonts.

Even when I create a new .docx and only add a simple equation such as "a=1" as the single line of the document, it won't convert it into a .pdf.

Any documents not containing equations are converted succesfully.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro Extended 9.3.1, Windows

Try to reinstall the specified fonts, maybe the have been damaged through something.

The document appears intact in Office and I can write equations there without any problem, so that would point to the fact there's nothing wrong with them.

I have installed Powerpoint Viewer as I've read it contains all the default Windows fonts and the problem persisted.

Is there another way to reinstall the fonts aside from a doing a full repair from the Windows 7 DVD? Would this reinstall all default fonts even if they already exist in the Fonts folder?
