Hi,
Recently installed Acrobat 9.0 (updated to 9.1) - trying to create a pdf from a DWG file created in Autocad LT2010 - Just get response "unexpected error occured PDFMaker was unable to produce the Adobe PDF"
Using Windows XP Pro 2002 SP3
Any help would be greatly appreciated - you might have to be a bit patient as I'm not the cleverest sandwich in the picnic basket

Thanks

Tim

You'll need to tell us more than that - anything specific in the file that causes the problem? Is it possible for you to post a sample file that demonstrates the problem?

Have the same problem, searched the net and found zip.

Logged an enhancement req at Adobe.

Diagnosed the problem to Acrobat not in compliance with the ACAD2010 format as the same file - saved to a prior format - converts without problems. The problem is the HW- and file-independent for any ACAD2010 dwg.

A fix/solution will be greatly appreciated.

At adobe.com only one post mentioned the problem and he got a not so nice wise crack reply.

To me, the problem is real, as I deal with converting dwgs - 200+/week -and the company is now running ACAD2010. Dang, I would like to have this one solved. For now, I must ask my colleagues to print to pdf each and every file. Also I cannot understand that this issue has apparently not yet been addressed. Surely, we can't be that few facing this "bug"?

Running AA 9.3.2 on Win7.

Best regards
Ulf
