Hi,

I have a long Word document (2003) with a lot og pdf files embedded. When I try to convert this document to pdf this goes ok, but none of the embedded documents work anymore. They just turns to pictures (Icons). Anyone who can help me with this?

This has been my experience as well. As far as I know, embedded objects cannot be converted smoothly into a PDF. I have found success using TOOLS > COMMENT & MARKUP > ATTACH A FILE AS A COMMENT (Acrobat 8 Pro). This allows you to add them back in as double-clickable objects, but there are two caveats:1) It's a manual process and will obviously take a while if you have a Word doc with plenty of embedded objects
2) When I tried to manually setup a link to one of the files, it said that it was already in use. I had to make a copy of the original destination file, then link *that* into the file.

I'm afraid this isn't the best answer, but for what it's worth...
