Hello all:

I've just converted my computer (Computer A) to Excel 2007 and am having a problem printing a worksheet with a chart to PDF. We never had a problem in Excel 2003 and I had successfully tested printing this chart in Excel 2007 on another computer (Computer B) a couple of months ago. However, now both Computer A and Computer B have the same error. I'm not sure what changed.

The print job starts out fine, but then gets bogged down briefly and finally closes out Excel. When I debug, I get the application error: "The instruction at 'xxxxxxxxxxx' referenced memory at 'xxxxxxxxxx'. The memory could not be 'written'."

Other worksheets (and even other charts) work fine when printed to PDF and I have installed the updates for Adobe.

Any ideas?

Can you post a sample Excel file?

Thanks for responding abhigyan!

I solved the issue and it turned out that it wasn't even related to Adobe. Our code used a default of 0 for error bars in a chart in Excel 2003. Apparently, Excel 2007 doesn't like this, so we changed the default to "" and it worked. I mistakenly assumed it was an Adobe issue since our code is also set to print the sheet and that's when the problem was activated.

Thanks again.
