excel to pdf cuts right margin - only characters not the cell borders

How can I prevent Acrobat from cutting off part of the cells in the last column on the right side of the sheet. When I use the object editing tool (I have Swedish version and I'm not sure about English term used) I can see the red rectangle - object ending exactly where the text is cut off. After this cell borders are still visible though.

Try setting the Adobe PDF printer as default prior to creating your PDF. You can also try setting the print quality to 600 dpi -- this seems to affect the layout. This is located under File -> Page Setup in Excel.
