Files fail to "Print" to Distiller

I'm using Acrobat 5.0 that has been updated to 5.0.5 and I'm having a problem printing to the Distiller. It doesn't matter which program is used to create a document...I get a "This document failed to print" error message immediately when I click to print after having selected the Acrobat Distiller as the printer to create the pdf.

This has happened with MS Word 2000 documents as well as MS Publisher 2000 documents.

I have obtained the latest service packs from MS for Office 2000.

What am I missing or what can I do to fix it?

Thanks!

There is one piece of information that is missing here to debug this. The Distiller .LOG file.

Launch Distiller. File | Preferences. Make sure that "delete .LOG files for successful jobs" is not checked.

Run the conversion - in the directory you were trying to post your PDF you should get a .LOG file. It's actually the output from the PostScript error hander in Distiller. Take a look at it - It may provide you with a clue, it may not. Try posting it here (copy paste contents) and let us take a look at it. There are a gazillion different things that could be going wrong here....

Thanks.
