Hi,

Does anyone here know how to "flatten" a pdf with embedded fonts. Basically, I need to convert it to another format, but b/c I don't have the embedded fonts in my font library, it is causing a lot of problems in the resulting file.

By "flatting" (to borrow a photoshop term) it should fix it. Thanks.

Can't use tiff's for the whiteboard program I need to export the pdf into. That would be all too easy.

Thanks for the effort.

export to tiff, create a new pdf from the tiff
export to jpeg, whatever format you need, create a new pdf from the jpeg
open in photoshop, save as pdf from photoshop
print 'as image' to adobe print
note: there is no 'flattening' in acrobat analogous to flattening in photoshop
