Freezes while creatinf PDF

Hi ,
I am using Office 2003 with Windows XP
When in Adobe 8 ,if i try to create a PDF ,it freezes at the Printing file stage
Have repaired /re-installed a couple of time ,with no resolve
Any help will be most appreciated

Have you updated Acrobat 8 with the latest point updates?
