Help please! Unable to edit text on scanned page....

I have only just began to use Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro so I am a learner. I scanned a page from a catalogue in to Adobe, used the OCR feature which appeared to happen. However I am unable to edit the figures on the page.
So I tried to select all the page, clicked four times in the text, then right click to choose copy. I was looking for "copy with formatting" which I had read would preserve the column layout, but that option was not available. So I tried to copy to Word (2000) but the result was without formatting and useless.
I tried the select tool to select text and copy but it does not allow me to select just the parts of the page with the descriptions and figures for copy.
If anyone has time to have a look at this page for me I could email it...
Thank you. Marg

Have you tried to save the PDF as an HTML document and open the saved HTML document in word?

Hello gkaiseril.
No, I had not tried to save it as HTML then open in Word.
So I just tried that and it did open OK but I can't edit the figures in the
Word document either. It just selects the whole frame when clicked on.
The frame appears around all of the information.
Should I email you a copy to have a look at?

Did you get the OCR to recognize any text?

If the quality of the Scanned image is not good enough, Acrobat will leave it as an image.
