How to assign new meta data to a document.

This could be done with Acrobat JavaScirpt, but I do not know the size limitation of the text. An attached text file of the book abstract might be a better choice.

I have managed to add a field into the additional metadata- advanced part of the program but not sure what this adds to the document.

What I would like to have is this information showing up when you right click on properties - detail from the file.

This is custom field and not detected by most standard metadata viewers unless they are designed to show all the meta data fields. Digital cameras produce hundreds for meta data fields with all sorts of technical details that most people do not want to see.

This field is used by Adobe products that search multiple PDFs. It also maybe picked up by web spiders.

Hmmm...So is there away to edit the document to show my 10 specific fields when i click on properties - detail?
