hey all,

please help me with this one.. I saw once a vertical tab in one .pdf file, beside the document, outside the paper printable area, with link to Table of contents, i think.. I just need the electronic version to be equipped with it..
How do i create that tab with Adobe Professional 8 or 9?

Hi astarxy,

Are you sure that it is outside the printable area, or is it just a link placed over a graphic along the edge? There is a Link tool in Acrobat. Activate it and then you can draw the link area as a long skinny box the length of the page from top to bottom and then place it over a graphic like that orange stripe in the example. You can find more about using the Link tool in the Acrobat help file.

Hope this helps,

Dimitri
