I'm baffled trying to figure this one out. I have an Author that needs to include hidden text in his source Word 2000 file. He is requested to place reference codes in certain section for compliance reasons. When generating the PDF, the paragraph markers and hidden text is not captured. He needs to create a PDF file that includes the hidden text for his document history. Is it possible to create a PDF that shows the hidden text?

Try this...
In MS Word 2000, for text hidden by the use of Format > Font > Hidden (checked under Effects).
Select Tools > Options > under the Print tab, in the Include with document pane > check Hidden textConvert the *.doc to PDF. The hidden text will be present.

hope this helps

Be well...

It did help - I came up with the same resolution yesterday. I kept looking at the Hidden Text option from View tab rather than the Print tab.

Thanks for the response.
