How to transform a word hyperlink into pdf

I have a word 2000 document with hyperlinks (to files). How can I convert it in pdf 1.4 (with Adobe 9 pro) and keep my hyperlinks?

You will need to the PDF Maker macros. This is an optional install for Acrobat and once installed you will need to "enable" the addin in Word and then check the PDF Conversion Settings to make sure that the various link options are selected.

As George stated, check the PDF Conversion settings.
Specifically, to obtain an output PDF of version 1.4, you may want to simple use the default setting "Standard".
"Standard" will create PDF documents that can be opened with Acrobat and Reader 5.0 and later.
