Using Framemaker 8, I'm unable to create a PDF from the .book file. I can create PDFs of individual files, but not of the book file as a whole.

I can generate a .ps file, but when I go to distill the .ps file to produce the PDF, I get the resulting log file.

I'm unable to enter stack trace here as window won't accept HTML.

As this offending pdfmark supposedly occurs in the index (that is what is on page 675 of this book, I've deleted the existing index, created a new version, and reimported the formats.

Has anyone seen this error before?

A pdfmark error relates to something structural in the document (links, tags, etc) - you can try turning off the option in Framemaker to export a tagged PDF but of course that will break the structure of the final file.

Without going through the actual files it's difficult to suggest what exactly is causing the error.
