Hi I'm trying to convert a document in word 2003 into a pdf. I go to the Adobe PDF menu and select convert to adobe pdf. When selected I get the error "You have selected an invalid conversion job option. Please select a valid job option before running acrobat pdf maker." I have tried completly removing microsoft office and reinstalling it as well as adobe pdf and reinstalling it as well. I am running a Windows Vista 32 bit machine with adobe pdf professional 8 installed.

Looks like Acrobat cannot find job option files on your machine.

- Make sure that you have updated your Acrobat version to the latest dot release. Vista support was added in Acrobat 8.1
- If you've done that and it still does not work, try repairing Acrobat.

Ok yes I should have mentioned the exact version of adobe that I had installed, whitch is 8.1.2. I have completly removed both MS Office and Adobe PDF Profecional from my machine and reinstalled them. Though I do have an update, Apparently I can goto file print, change the printer to adobe pdf and save the document that way. Also if I use the convert to adobe pdf from the adobe toolbar in windows I'll be able to save the document that way as well. Apparently the only thing that doesn't work is going through the adobe pdf menu...
