When converting a PageMaker 6.5 landscape oriented document to a PDF file the document is converted to portrait view with both sides cropped. I did a test of the procedure on a friends new Insuite Software, created a test document and used the included Acrobat Pro to convert the landscape document to a pdf. It worked. I am really confused. Am I asking Acrobat 6 Standard to do something it cannot do or am I missing some button. Thanks, Bob M

Pagemaker and other layout programs have a Transverse option in the Print dialog box designed to save media when printing on roll fed commercial printing devices. Try visiting the Print dialog box and make sure your file isn't set up to Print Transverse. You should see a page preview in the Print dialog box. Test it out by setting print attributes and print a PostScript file and distill it with Acrobat Distiller.
