I have a Word 2003 document containing multiple hyperlinks within the text. All the links work correctly within Word -- they are correctly formatted as blue and underlined, and when clicked they open the correct pages in the browser.
When I convert to pdf using the "Adobe PDF" menu within Word (Acrobat 8.0), some of the links convert properly but some do not. All the links show in the PDF as blue and underlined, but some of them are not recognized as links, i.e., when clicked they do nothing. As far as I can tell, there is no difference in formatting or anything like that between the links that work and those that don't.
I also notice some odd cursor behavior around the nonfunctional links, e.g., if I try to click within the link, the cursor will appear on a different line of text above or below; and if I try to select a block of text, the bad links are not selected even though all the text around them is selected.
(Ironically, some of the links that don't work are to Adobe products/sites....)
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

You can not print to Adobe PDF and get the emended links. Some newer versions of Acrobat can try to generate links form the text, but misses links with spaces in their names.
