I have been searching all over the internet to no avail.
How do I mass convert or batch powerpoint (.ppt) files to pdf in one setting?
I have about 50 presentations at a time that needs to be converted to .pdf and I dont have time to change the printer setting each time. Is there a script or converter that I could do this seamlessly?
Thanks for your help!
You can use the Batch Process to convert all the files in a single folder to PDF. Place all the .ppt files to convert in one folder. In Acrobat go to Advanced ->Batch Processing. Create a New Sequence and name it. In the Edit Batch Sequence dialog leave Part 1 "Select Sequence of Commands" blank. In Part 2 select the Folder where the .ppt files are located and click on the Source File Option button and make sure PPT is checked in the list of file types. Select a Folder to place the converted files into by clicking on the Select Output Location and click OK. You'll be back at the Batch Sequence dialog and here you select "Run Sequence." Go get a cup of coffee and when you come back you should have a folder full of PDFs.The tiling is a different matter if you need to do that after the conversion to PDF. It is certainly possible to do but will require some custom JavaScript to be written in your Batch Process sequence.
Hope this helps,
