MS Access report to PDF hyperlink problem

I'm using Acrobat PDFMaker to convert a MS Access 2007 report to PDF. The report has hyperlinks in text boxes linked to a control source with hyperlink data type. The hyperlinks work fine when the hyperlink address uses the filename only but when I add display text (displaytext#filename#) the PDF file doesn't recognise the text as a hyperlink. The hyperlinks all work OK in Report View in Access. Can you offer any suggestions? Thanks.

My Product Information:
Acrobat 9.4, Windows

I solved the problem by exporting to PDF rather than using the PDFMaker add in. Phew!

Steve,

I'm facing the same problem with Access reports, however I'm not sure what you are referring to when you wrote "exporting to PDF". I've looked for such a ribbon option or a vba method with no luck. Could you provide more details or an example of what you did?

Thanks,

MCO

I'm now using Office 2010. On the Print Preview tab, select PDF or XPS in the data group.

Thanks Steve.
It works for MS Office 2007/2010 but it's no function for MS Office 2003.
If anyone can advise hyperlink problem for MS Office 2003, it will be very helpful.

Thanks

In order for hyperlinks to be clickable in a PDF created using PDFMaker in Microsoft Access, the link has to be fully qualified in the Access hyperlink cell. For example, a link to a web page must be written as http://www.adobe.com and a link to a file needs to be written as c:\temp\file.doc.

Actually, I wanted to know about Embedded hyperlink (text hyperlink). For example, I have embeded hyperlink called "Microsoft" in MS Access report and I converted to Adobe format. So this link should be clickable in Adobe format perhaps its link should open Microsoft website(www.microsoft.com).
But it doesen't work (not clickable) when I convert it from MS Access 2003 to Adobe.

If you have some advice on this issue, it will be very helpful and thank you so much.

I’m trying to convert a MS Access 2003 report to PDF. Its report has embedded text hyperlink. When I converted its report to PDF format, the PDF reader doesn’t recognize the text as hyper link.
Anyone can suggest this issue?

Thanks
