Is it possible to get faithful reproduction of MS Excel cell borders in PDFs? Dotted gray borders become thin black lines and thick black borders become thick gray lines. I have tried highest resolution print quality setting for Excel and no downsampling in Acrobat with no sucess. I am using Acrobat 8 Professional, but have experienced the same problem with all previous Acrobat versions, Excel 2002 and 2003.

HOW are you creating the PDF from Excel? Using the "Create Adobe PDF" button in the Excel toolbar? printing to the Adobe PDF printer? Other?

I have tried both methods to create a PDF from Excel and get the same results.
