Multi-line hyperlinks not working when creating pdf from Access

I have Acrobat 9, when I try to create a pdf from a MS Access report, the entire hyperlink address isn't recognized only the first line. I need to know how my users can quickly export the report without having to edit the hyperlinks in the pdf.

In Access, the field is set as a hyperlink and appears to export properly. I have tried creating pdfs from "print to pdf", exporting to pdf, and clicking on the create a pdf while in the database.

Nothing is work, please help.

Thanks.

Acrobat Pro 9.1.1, Windows

Hi,
The statement

Quote:
...only the first line.
would seem to indicate that the full link path is being word wrapped.
Perhaps the width of the field used in the report is insufficient for the length of the Hyperlinks used.

If a link such as
http://www.acrobatusers.com/forums/aucbb/viewtopic.php?id=20418
is placed in a field or table cell that is of insufficent width, it gets word wrapped.
i.e.,
http://www.acrobatusers.com/
forums/aucbb/viewtopic.php?
id=20418

When passed to PDF, the word wrap truncates the link at the last character of the first line.
Similar behavior can be observed in an HTML table cell that is insufficently wide for the length
of a link used.

How can I get the link to wrap and still maintain the entire address? I have several long hyperlinks so I have to have them wrap in the text box. Is this possible?

Hi,
Fundamentally, if the link path "wraps" the link is "broken".
Typical exceptions - use of bbcode in a board/forum application the puts the link in a
"wrapper", as it were.

If the report's field limits the horizontal width available then the character string "wraps".
Straight up and neat your choices are:
1. edit the field in the report to support the long link path/syntax
2. post-process the PDF(s)

With that said there may well be some nifty programmatic approach; but I'd guess that's
"developer space". The upside is that a fair number of occupants of that space contribute
here; so, one may post a suggestion. 8^)
