Narrated Powerpoint to pdf - need Presenter?

I have Acrobat 9 Pro; I read that using Presenter I can convert a voice narrated PPT file into a pdf,

1) can I do it with Acrobat Pro? I read that Presenter was a (optional install) part of Acrobat Pro extended.

2) If not, do I need to buy a new separate product, or an upgrade, or..?

Yes, you want Acrobat 9 Pro Extended.
Pro can be upgraded to Pro Extended.
