No Bookmarks Generated from Excel Macro...

In the macro snippet below I'm calling Distiller to export XLS file to PDF. I'm no pro, got this code from another forum.

Problem is that no bookmarks are generated, although when I use Acrobat icon from Excel menu (no VBA) I do get the bookmarks in the PDF.

Is there a simple solution?

Many thanks for any help.

--code snippet--

Well, can someone also tell me how to post the code? I'm getting an error stating I can't post HTML (guess the code is detected as HTML?), but I don't know where to turn this off... Arrrggh

Hi,

To get bookmarks in a PDF from an excel file the excel file has to pass through Adobe PDFMaker.
Going straight to Adobe Printer (Distiller) won't provide this feature.

To enter code:
When you open the dialog to post/reply look for the link to "BBCode". Link opens a new browser window.
The "how-to" is there.

Be well...

Thanks for the response. Are you (or anyone else) aware of some generic VBA code in the community which calls PDFmaker to export Excel files, and therefore preserves the Bookmarks?

Thanks again.
