No menu, toolbar in Word 2003

No toolbar or Both the Adobe Acrobat menu item and the toolbar are absent in Word 2003 w/ Acro pro 7.09. Disappeared for some unknown reason. It's there in Excel, Outlook. Tried Detect & Repair in both Acrobat and Word, with reboots, but did not resolve. Also tried Add/Remove..Change features of Acrobat, no dice. PDFMWord.dll is in the correct location "p:\Adobe\Acrobat 7.0 Pro\PDFMaker\Office\PDFMWord.dll"
 
and the registry keys seem to contain the correct entries. What could be the cause?

You've followed the procedure for repair properly. You might try deinstalling Acrobat and reinstall to see if that can solve the problem. There's not really another simple fix that I know of.
