norwegian letters

hi!
when i am scanning my material the programme does not recognise the norwegian letters Æ Ø and Å.
how to fix this?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 9.3.1, Windows

Hi,

did you select Norsk as primary OCR-language in the OCR-dialog?
I tested it on my system with a png and those characters in different sizes (10pt to 30pt).
Acrobat was able to recognize them all in the correct way.
