OCR Question here...Specifically, I would like to OCR Interrogatories so I can answer them without having to re-type the questions. I scan my docs in, covert them to .pdf. I click Document>OCR test recognition, but after that, I am not permitted to type anything into the OCR'ed document. Am I missing a step?

Thanks!

Hi Alan --

You should be able to add content at will, provided the files aren't protected by a password or other security.

To insert text, use the TouchUp Text tool on the Advanced Editing toolbar, Ctrl+click the page with the tool where you want to start the text, and type.

Continuing with this subject, when using TouchUp text, I click where I want to type; nothing shows up until I highlight the area I typed in, right click, click on properties and change the fill color. I have to do that with each word that I type. Why? Why doesn't what I type automatically show up?
Thanks!
