Everyone,
First time here - hope to find some quick solutions to a mystery.
We are trying to establish a PDF creation workflow for our agency to use with online annotations.
The Snafu we're encountering is that the smallest we can get our test file (8.1 Adobe Illustrator CS3) to be after creating the PDF from Acrobat is 1.6MB - and the rastor placed Images look horribly unusable.
When the designer just creates the PDF directly from Illustrator the resulting PDF is only 232kb.
We've matched the file settings (nothing really beyond the defaults, in either case.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Vann
I am not sure I understand. Why then would you bother to create the PDF from Acrobat if you can create a much better, clearer, smaller version directly from Illustrator? Would that not be usable in your workflow?
