i used this and still did not get graph below the 8" mark

Hi ekovacs,

Let's see if transparency is the problem.
To disable semitransparency in Excel 2002 or earlier:

1. Select the object and right-click it.

2. Choose Format AutoShape from the menu.

3. Deselect Semitransparent.

4. Click OK.
