PDF - artwork disappears

hi..
I'm trying to print a PDF from IllustratorCS2 on my G5. Part of a customer's logo is disappearing when the PDF is previewed in Acrobat 7.0. I tried different computers, (another G5 and a PC) and it prints fine. The PDF from the other G5 (the one that prints fine) still has the same problem when previewed on the original G5.
The artwork in question is simple vector art. There are no transparencies or effects. It is a vector logo, and the wordmark is disappearing. All layers are set to print, everything is on the same layer, grouped. Nothing is locked.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Jason.

Hi jaay,

It's difficult to determine what is happening here without seeing the file; however I would suggest that you turn on Overprint Preview in Acrobat 7 and see if that impacts the display. If it’s a logo there may be a spot color involved and some subtle things could be going on.
Also, I recommend using the PDFX1a preset for printing.

Hope this helps,
Lori
