This is probably a simple question to answer. I want to save some PDF documents to CD on my computer. Then I want to take them to England and Ghana. Can someone tell me if there will be any compatibility problems with different encoding? I know that a DVD written here (in Canada) won't work in Europe unless I write it in PAL and I am wondering if there is some similar problem with PDF documents on CD.

Acrobat Standard 9.1.1, Windows

They'll be fine. The regional coding of DVD players is a copyright-protection system specific to the DVD format - a data CD will work anywhere.

The main compatibility problem should be the fonts and character sets which can be simply solved by embedding the required fonts on pdf creation.
