I'm using Acrobat Pro 7.0 and when I try to convert an Excel Sheet to pdf - the conversion stops because a print error occurs in "Printer" Adobe PDF.

Hi ftsaenz,

You don't mention what operating system you're on but if it's Windows, this error may be occuring because AcroTray.exe (Acrobat Assistant) is not running in the background. PDFMaker and Adobe PDF Printer require that AcroTray.exe (Acrobat Assistant) runs in the background. AcroTray.exe starts automatically when you start the computer, however, PDFMaker will return an error is this isn't happening.
To re-create the AcroTray.exe shortcut in the Startup folder do the following:

1. In Windows Explorer, navigate to Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat [version]\Distillr.

2. Right-click AcroTray.exe, and then choose Create Shortcut.

3. Copy the shortcut to the AcroTray.exe file to the Startup folder:

If the shortcut is already in your startup, I recommend reviewing the troubleshooting PDFMaker guide at:
