My problem is converting MS Word documents to PDF's; PDFMaker never finishes the conversion. I have Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0, Vista, and MS Office 2003. All are updated and/or repaired.

With Vista, you really need to upgrade to Acrobat 8.1. Vista is not supported with earlier versions of Acrobat and the PDFMaker doesn't work well when using earlier versions of Acrobat.
