PDF Maker Doesn't Convert MS Word Correctly

For regulatory reasons, it is very important that the PDF conversion mirrors our MS Word document. Have found that the PDF Maker (Acrobat 8.0 Professional) moves hyphenation (for example (indi- to in- for indicates) or removes the hyphenation and moves the word to the next line. I'm using the Adobe PDF driver and not a desktop printer. Using PDF Maker in Word to produce the PDF and Print Preview in Word appears the same as the Layout view in Word. What am I doing wrong?

Sounds like you need to make sure that the Adobe PDF driver is set as your default printer prior to creating the PDF. Word re-paginates the pages depending on what print driver is selected. There are additional suggestions in the technical note Create PDF files from Microsoft Word (Acrobat 8.0 on Windows) as well.
