I am newbie in adobe.
My company has an already existing application that spits out individual PDF documents. I have started to write a Web application that will merge the individual PDF doucments into a single PDF document. My questions are: Does adobe Acrobat need to be installed both on the server and the user's pcs? 2. What is involved in trying to do this? would I use the SDKs for this?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 8, Windows

You are doing a very bad thing :( Acrobat's License states that it cannot be use on a server. That's what they sell server products for.

If you do not want to buy an Adobe server then you should be looking at 3rd party apps that merge PDF files, APMerge from www.appligent.com, PDF Enhancer from www.apago.com, www.activepdf.com, and I think there is one from www.artspdf.com as well. And there are plenty more.
